Owen always tends to have blunt lyrics like the above, but are delivered with wisdom - that you hardly find in other musicians - akin to a tone down Bukowski. And how many of us can relate to those lyrics of a failed night, and trying to redeem it in anyway? When people say a piece of music is a soundtrack to working out, or getting ready to leave for a party; this is Owen’s - a niche he spent almost a decade digging; a soundtrack to failure, and redemption.
